“The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord… Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God.”
When the ark of the covenant was brought into Solomon’s temple, the musicians and singers united in praise. Their worship was so wholehearted that God’s glory visibly filled the temple.
This is a picture of what happens when God’s people gather to honour Him. True worship welcomes His presence. It’s not about performance or preference, but about exalting Him with one heart and voice.
In Christ, we are God’s temple, and His Spirit fills us. When we worship together in unity, His presence becomes tangible, encouraging faith and transforming lives.
How can you join in wholehearted, unified worship this week?
Lord, fill my heart with praise for you. Make me eager to join your people in worship. Let your presence rest on us as we lift your name high. Amen.
