…goodness, faithfulness…
Goodness is moral integrity that reflects the character of God. It is not simply doing good deeds but being shaped into a person who radiates God’s goodness in every area of life. Faithfulness is steady loyalty and trustworthiness, reflecting the God who keeps His promises.
These qualities are inseparable. Goodness without faithfulness is shallow; faithfulness without goodness can be rigid. Together, they form a picture of Christlike character, consistent, dependable, and holy.
We are called not only to believe in God’s goodness and faithfulness but to embody them. The Spirit grows in us a reliability that others can count on and a goodness that shines light in the darkness.
Where is the Spirit inviting you to grow in consistency, living out goodness and faithfulness when no one is watching?
Faithful God, you are always good and true. Grow in me the Spirit’s fruit of goodness and faithfulness so that my life reflects your steadfast love.
