Job had wrestled with questions of suffering, justice, and wisdom. His friends offered human reasoning, but it fell short. When God finally speaks, He does not explain the mystery, He reveals His majesty.
The question “Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation?” humbles us. Human intelligence, no matter how advanced, was not present at creation. We reverse-engineer patterns, study nature, and build technologies, but none of us was there when God called all things into being.
The rise of AI may dazzle us with problem-solving power, but it too is bounded by creation, it only learns from what already exists. God alone speaks into nothingness and brings forth existence. His knowledge is not derivative; it is original, creative, and sustaining.

What does it mean for you to trust the God who knows creation’s foundations when you face questions beyond your understanding?
Prayer
Creator God, forgive my pride in thinking I can grasp all mysteries. Teach me to bow before your greatness and to rest in your wisdom that laid the earth’s foundation.
