The Lord is Near

"Rejoice in the Lord always... Do not be anxious about anything." In Philippians 4:4-7, Paul sets up a paradigm juxtaposing rejoicing and anxiety. Both are internal responses to external realities. How are we to rejoice always? To not be anxious about anything? Paul gives the answer. The Lord is near. That means He is close and coming.
