Sin & Syncretism

In Deuteronomy, God commanded the people of Israel through Moses to "purge the evil from among you." Because of what Jesus has done for us, our sin has been dealt with, yet the imperative in the life of a Christian is to "put to death whatever belongs to our earthly nature" (Colossians 3:5).
